The Interior Fit Out Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the interior design and construction projects for event spaces within the company. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including clients, designers, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure the successful execution of projects that meet high standards of design, functionality, and timeliness.
- Plan, organize, and manage interior fit-out projects for event spaces from conception to completion.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with interior designers to translate conceptual designs into actionable construction plans.
- Ensure design concepts align with client preferences, event themes, and functional requirements.
- Review and approve design proposals, materials, and finishes to maintain consistency and quality.
- Source, select, and manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers for various aspects of the fit-out process.
- Conduct bid processes, negotiate contracts, and oversee contractor performance.
- Ensure contractors adhere to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify cost-effective solutions without compromising quality and design integrity.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality of workmanship, and adherence to design standards.
- Address any discrepancies or issues promptly to maintain project quality.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and any potential delays to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate negative impacts on project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the construction process.

- Must have extensive know-how on all site operations and should have managed small to mid-sized commercial value projects.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in interior design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in interior fit-out project management, preferably within the events or hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of interior design principles, construction techniques, and materials.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Problem-solving ability and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
